| Z-bloc for roads can be equipped with a raised screen. The screen can be made of transparent plexiglas, called "SOUNDSTOP" or of recycled plastic, wood etc. The installation and assembly are very easy and can be completed quickly. Geotechnical inspections are not required. If the screen is not used, building permits are not required in most cases. The basic excavation that is required minimizes the risk for costs as the result of unexpected ground cables or lines. Due to its simple assembly and disassembly Z-bloc can be used as temporary noise protection during all kinds of road work. Z-bloc also gives protection against splashing and flying stones.
